On August, 15, 2003, based on the decision of Abel, Archbishop of Lublin- Chełm Diocese, there was established new Monastic House of St. Seraphim of Sarov in Kostomłoty, Kodeń county, Lublin voivodeship. Priest ihumen Ambroży (Adam Godun) was appointed as a head of the monastery.

 

Female Monastic House of The Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos in Turkowice village was established on August, 28, 2008 based on the decision of Abel, Archbishop of Lublin-Chełm Diocese. Sister Eufalia (Zołotariew) was chosen as an abbyss of the house. There are also other Orthodox monasteries on the territory of Poland, in: Supraśl, Jabłeczna, Ujkowice, Saki, Wysowa, on The Holy Mount Grabarka, in Białystok, Wojnów and Zaleszany.
